Black tank valve problem

Our black tank is FULL & won't drain.

My husband thinks that the rod that goes into the valve has detached from the drain plate. So the rod goes back & forth but the valve doesn't seem to be opening.

Is there another way to get the black tank drain valve to open??

ANY ideas to solve this problem will be much appreciated!

We have a 2009 Mobile Suites 38RSSB3.

He will probably have to drop the coroplast, cut a hole in it instead, or possibly reach the valve through the sliding doors in the basement. If he cuts the coroplast, just cut a three sided flap bog enough to do the work and seal it back with black Gorilla tape.

Look behind the gray doors first, look for the the inside part of the T-handle.

Look to see if the cable jacket is attached to the handle parts. Operate the handle in and out, look to see what is moving. You may also be able to see where the cable travels to the valve. A common problem is the cable jacket breaking free of the handle, frequently that can be fixed with minimal effort.

Try and take a picture of what you see.

Most likely the valve is opening and you are just compacted. With the valve open and a drain attachment that has a hose connection and cap it attach a hose and reverse blast the blockage.

DRV dump valves

When I spoke with DRV because my grey water does not close. The DRV tech support said removing the boot around discharge pipe in underbelly will put you very close to where cables attach to dump valve to make any adjustment or repair.

Get rid of the cables!!! 6 years full-time and they open and close like new.

If you cut the coroplast you want it hinged to the front, I found Tyvek tape sticks and holds better that Duct or Gorilla. Tyvek is used in home construction and Home Depot & Lowe carry it, likely other lumber yards also.

You know something I had that problem not emptying with our last 5er and what I found was the slug where the hole drilled was cut out was floating around the tank and stopped water out, back flushing fixed it until I could drop the belly. I don't know if may have the same thing.
