Cable TV

In a effort to spare owners of 2011 Escalades a bit of hassle what follows is my Cable TV story. In order to view cable you need to do more than just hooking up park cable to your basement cable connector. You need to remove the antena jumper from terminal A to terminal B and jumper terminal C to terminal B. All these terminals are behind the bedroom TV. It is virtually impossible to reach these terminals with the TV in place. I had to get the factory to remove the bedroom TV to access the terminals. (not easy to remove TV). Now to use antenna, you need to reverse the procedure. Not sure who engineered this, but its kind of useless to have a TV blocking access to terminals you need on a regular basis. Took a while to figure this out as there were other wiring problems that needed to be fixed first. Good luck to other owners.
