Dryer vent????????????

I bought a 2006 King of the Road, Royal Villa. We plan on putting a washer and dryer into a dedicated closet.

Everything seems to be there. Electricity, water hook up for hot and cold water and the drain. There is a black tube next to the drain. It has a cap and seems to have two dime size holes on each side of the tube. I see no vent for the dryer and wonder what the tube is? Two hole that size won't vent enough air, and I see no place else to vent the dryer? See picture below. For some odd reason every time I upload a picture it turns it sideways. The one with the red inside is the drain, the other??????????

Anyone have a clue??

Dan

Take your picture 90 degrees from where you're holding the camera.

Time to pull the cap off the mystery tube and chase a wire down it to see where it goes...
Might be set up to vent out the bottom, it just isn't open?
Also, be sure the drain line is OPEN and working before putting the washer in....
same for the hot/cold lines.

Not a bad idea, but I'm unsure the end is not glued. I'll give it a try!
