New member from update NY

Hello folks,

I hope it's ok to join now. My goal is to own a fifth wheel in the next three to six months. Figured this would be a good place to get information and some stories (good and bad).

Already have the truck. But I will have to purchase an older used fifth wheel, budget is tight. Recently became disabled but not letting it defeat me. Former submarine veteran and Dept. Of Corrections Veteran's Liaison.

My ideal fifth wheel would be a toy hauler type, Mine needs to have a space to set up a small wood shop.

Looking forward to meeting new people and making some friends.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your service to our country.

Never too early to begin research, and using a TH with the garage set up as a shop is a great idea. Hope it all comes together for you.

Joe

Welcome to the forum from a Marine Corps family. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a nice, used toyhauler to set up shop.

Welcome from The Great Lakes State, USAF Ret.
Joining the Forum now is a great idea. Read the threads, and ask the questions now, before any simple mistakes are made. That's what I did. I still make mistakes but gathered a huge amount of knowledge beforehand to avoid a few.
