Tire Play Question

I will be using a 2002 International 4700 for my towing rig, friend had on and cut me a deal too good to pass.

He ran very heavy duty high ply tires ( not sure the number) because the loads he was pulling and hauling were quite large.

Do I need to keep with the same high ply or can I safely go lower?

I had a 1999 International 4700 LoPro and I ran Michelin tires at a fairly low pressure. I had air rear suspension, air cab, air seats and air hitch. For being a big old truck it road well and didn't shake your eyes out.

If you are ever by this way stop in and lets have a chat.
