The worst thing about doing dishes for me is space to dry. I would rather let dishes air dry and that's another reason we extended the Island. Lazy yes, but learned years ago, it's also more sanitary. But then it requires dishes sitting out all night instead of tucked neatly away in the cupboard.
Have considered getting an Electric dish rack. But for now because of the cost, am letting our Island stay covered.
