The 2800 to 3000 is more than just a 200 watt upgrade, the 3000 gets you the hybrid supplemental load support feature.
What are you looking to do? Even with the proper battery supply the 4000 is only going to give you about 32 amps AC power, about 10 more than you have now.
Are you planning to boondock?
What panels are you using? What SOLAR controller? I'm using 200 watt panels that put out 21-24 volts/ 9 amps. They are wired for an output of approximately 66 volts at 27 amps x 2
You could wire your current batteries to get 24 volts, but that's gets tedious quickly.
When I did my solar battery change I went with all 12 volt batteries.
