Have been following DRV ever since before I bought my '05 in '07. The only thing that comes to mind is the problems they had with the larger bedroom slides (w/d included on slide) that operated by the Schwintek rack/pinion. They just could not get everything to work consistently with that method, and changed to cable-operated soon thereafter. I think maybe that was 2010 and 2011, not sure. But you can easily tell by looking at the sides of the br slide to see if it has silver tracks at top and bottom. Not sure if they ever found a solution to make them stay in sync top and bottom.
Like just about every RV mfg, they seem to have bad days/good days at the factory, but there are lots of happy owners out there who don't have complaints.
If you are not aware, first year was 2003. Big change in 2005--went from electric slide/jack operation to hydraulic. I found my '05 after looking for a year and it has been a good one.
Do a lot of looking in person to compare units so you will know when you come across a good'un...RVTrader.com is a good place to check pricing and interiors.
