Re: the fantastic fan, on their web site they say they have a "Lifetime " warrenty on their dome lids. They donot reccommend the use of covers. I had a travel trailer before and the dome lids fell apart due to the sun within 2 years , so I put on the Maxair covers. If you donot get the covers, you might want to reconsider the rain sensor. I have it and it works perfectly!
