When you do get the old light out will you look on the old bulb and verify if it says 120v 25 watts.
That is what the bulb on our 2004 Microwave /Convection had for the surface light to the stove and when we got our 2005 and lost the light in the inside of of our Micro/convection the bulb said the same thing on the bulb. I originally ordered one from GE and they shipped it loose in a box and it came broke from slapping around in the box. So I took it to Walmart and found the same GE Halogen bulb. 120v 25 watt with the same prong and like I stated above alot cheaper and they have worked on both the 2004 unit and now the 2005 unit.
It was a bi..h* to change out but my husband, big fingers and all was able.
