I currently have a GMC 3500 HD DRW Denali with a payload capacity of 5,296. However, about 800 pounds of that is eaten up with a 60 gallon fuel tank, passenger, etc.

No doubt that the truck will haul the trailer with ease. The concern is with the vertical load on the truck.
