You are welcome, hope it works for you. Certainly the increased pressure will aid a little in mileage, but may turn out to be too rough a ride?
I first had the alignment checked, but it was fine--thats when I raised the pressure, wear has been good ever since. I am now at the approximate mileage on the 2nd set of tires that showed the bad wear on the 1st set, and I feel the fronts are in good shape.
The front suspensions on these 450s are massive compared to the 350s, and should last a long time.
One other note--I changed all shocks to Bilsteins at about 40000--the original "Rancho" shocks had no compression/rebound at that point. Was really disappointed with what Ford calls performance shocks...
