Personally, I would by a 3/4 ton Diesel, that will cover most anything. If you are going to pull real heavy say 14000 and above starting dry weight I would go with a 1 ton Dully. Some people are buying the big 550/650 diesel crew cab ford trucks and pulling there 5er because they are pretty close to the price of a dully but not as pretty...
