My best advice is to find a large RV Show to attend. You can compare models and see which of those features work for you, speak to salesmen (sometimes from the factory) and you can see how other 'campers' react when they tour them.

If there aren't any shows nearby, find a dealer that has the different manufacturers units. Get a brochure, make notes, take photos and then you can compare in the peace and quiet of your own home.

If you had time and are able, it's also nice to take a few factory tours. They are most helpful. You'll usually find a few owners at the same time and can see what they are at the factory for. Major repairs or just a few tweaks.
