Slide Slickers - Keep the carpet clean
Not aware of any notches cut in the door side slide. But dirt and wear on the carpet from slide track is very common.
Lippert Slide Slickers have solved that problem for us.
There may be multiple sources for this product. I have seen them on E-Bay.
