It has 2 arrows on it and says to air up to that point. It's what I do. Have not checked air pressure. It's a trail air hitch. Also I run 70 lbs in rv suspension springs. I know if this is normal, I'd not pull one without it. I pulled from Baton Rogue, La to Houston, TX and was very glad to get it unhooked. There is some rather rough highway on that trip though. It's a TrailAire tri glide5th wheel pin box. Just looked it up on the net.
