Center Point Failure

Here is what started my suspension project. In Branson I noticed the driver side CP didn't look right. Found both side plates missing along with no sign of the bolts. Limped to Wichita. Called Lippert, was told this couldn't happen, ordered parts, received wrong bolts even after I told them the size and could never get answers to my tech questions. Replaced the single lateral bolt, installed new plates with wrong bolts (couldn't fing 9/16 bolts locally) and came home.

The CP mount is narrower than the frame hangar by about 1/2 inch. With only one lateral bolt it can pivot as unqual loads are placed on the axles. The side plate bolts will prevent the mount from pivoting too much but I can't see how they totally prevent some pivoting. All the air bag torque shaft pivots are very loose, like a 1/4 inch play. I can't get a spec from Lippert.
