If your '04 is like my '05, the switch is on the right side of the door--ours is in the upper pair (lower pair controls the porch/step lights) and is on the left side.
Are you handy with the use of a meter that can check for power? I would disconnect from power (since you don't know which switch is which) and pull the pair of switches out from the wall to check the wire connections--most of these switches are simply wires placed in a contact area that cuts the insulation, rather than use a screw for the contact. Make sure all the wires are in contact with the metal surfaces. Or, you can replace the switch with a regular house switch.
Have you checked the circuit breaker box to be sure there are no tripped breakers?
My track light quit working soon after I bought it used, and I found out the problem was in the box area where the track gets power.
