Dyson's are pricey, but they work as advertised. I'm still amazed at how full the bin gets using in what looks like a clean room.

We had one of the early models (35 I think), bought a pair on them at Lowes on closeout, $50 each

Upgraded to the "animal" when we got the DRV. Also have the central vac in the DRV which I like to use for projects.
When we moved to our new house we had no vacuums (had a central in the last house) so I got the Dyson V10. Again, pricey but works great.

I still have one of our first Dyson 35's, use it in the storage area over our S&B garage.

For the DRV I ran a separate 20 amp circuit from the breaker panel to the left side of the closet and mounted the Dyson on the wall on that side.

Checked my quicken register, DC35 and DC44 for $60 and $70 close out, V8 in the DRV and V11 for the house
