I had to smile (sorry) when I read your post. I really hate that someone else is having a similar problem.

Since our last trip to the dealer, knock on wood, we have had no problems. We are also being careful where we are purchasing fuel. Being on the Alabama coast, we have heard this "hurricane" story till we are sick!

I still think that the sensor is over sensitive, but try to convience the dealer of that!

We had our filter changed at 15K and again at 17K. Sure hope this doesn't become a habit as it's not cheap!

My dh is just going to drop the water whenever the light comes on or once a week if we are in a humid climate.
