You’ve gotten plenty of good information. Checking with the parks webpage can tell you the max. rig length and if traveling on some road is Ill-advised due to its length. Parks are making some progress for longer RVs but slowly. Long high rigs can be difficult to get into sites if too tall (trees mostly) and due to short sites. We’ve passed on many places with our 12’ x 39’ fiver. Doing research on the park you’ll be visiting is extremely helpful tho’ sometime frustrating. Not all parks offer 50A service so that may present a problem with newer rigs.

Now there’s one thing I personally think needs to be done. You really need to get your wife to drive the rig. Should, God forbid, you not be able to drive she needs the training and practice to have sufficient skill to drive if necessary.
