Sounds like yall have some pretty bad dealers they like your money. The filers are easy to change and filters should cost around $40.00 bucks. When dealing with diesel keep your tanks full and add condition once a month. I carry about 80 gals. I have an 2005 and a 2006 F250 never had a fuel light come on.
