I installed my "notchless" seal today and found the job to be cumbersome while scrunched up under the slideout

but definitely a worthwhile project. I also added stainless plates in front of the rollers to keep the seal from being wiped into the rollers. I also left the ends of the old seals in place and installed the new seal straight across over the top of them and added 2 additional clamp pieces to secure the ends.

All in all the job went well and I have no daylight showing now.
