I agree that owning 2 EU2000i's is a better choice than owning 1 EU3000i.

When we evacuated New Orleans for Katrina I took my 2 EU2000i's with me to the house In Kentwood LA that we were allowed to use as the owner was out of town with a dyeing grandson.

Power was out their for over 3 weeks after the hurricane hit and 1 EU2000i
running on econo mode powered a full size refrigerator/freezer, a 19 TV, a jam box, several lamps and a half dozen or so portable fans. I could go nearly 8 hours on a tank of gas.

Since gas was extremely difficult to find within 100 miles of where we were staying and hitting nearly $3.00 a gallon when you could find it I ended up loaning my extra genny to a relative up the street of the owner of the house we were staying at to replace his gas hog of a genny he had been using.
