Another update. The 2 quart reservoir has a hard plastic "collar", that collar attaches to the pump with 4 screws. The hydraulic repair shop determined the leak is not around the o-ring, it is leaking from the inside edge of the collar where there is a small bump "imperfection" you can feel on the inside edge. I cleaned the edges with rubbing alcohol and used JB Weld Plastic to seal all around. Filled it this morning but there's still a (smaller) leak. I just spoke with Lippert again before I order a new reservoir to make sure the collar is attached (as the picture does not show a collar). Sadly their response is that although they sell new reservoirs they do not sell the collar that goes with it. Their only solution is to buy a complete new pump unit. I do not understand how such a successful RV company can be so lame with tech support or replacement parts. Rock and a hard spot for me this time.
