One time one of the neighbors a/c units failed to start. I went up on the roof, removed the cover and gave the fan shaft a turn, it fired right up. That was the only time they had the a/c not start. They never had another issue with it, no idea what casued that no start, but while I was up there and got it going I sprayed a dry lube on the areas i thought could use it. I then went and removed my covers and sprayed the same areas, just in case, but never had any issues with my units.
