If you are going to travel extensively and not sit in one place much you won't have much luck dealing with dial up.

You have 2 choices for mobile internet. Use a cell phone company and connect wirelessly or satelite. We've been many places where our cell didn't have signal. including in a major city in Minnesota. WiFi is a distant third option as you either have to contract with some company like Flying J, then go to their loacation or hope you find an open site you can access in your travels. Not terribly reliable.

We use a satelite system. There are 3 out there, Motosat, Direcway and Datastorm. All three get you to the same internet. All 3 are good systems, it just depends on how much you want to pay for it. I happen to like Direcway and am an RV installer for it. Talk to folks about the systems and look them over.
