With that kind of mileage take out an extended warranty and keep the truck as long as you can because it's one in a million!
I too tow a 36TK3 with a 2003 Duramax 3500 but get around 9-10 towing between 55 and 60 mph. Even my last fiver which was a few thousand lbs lighter I still got around 10 mpg towing.
