The power awning is most likely because the remote is a very low power transmitter. Try changing position and using it. You'll probably find a spot where it works fine.

As far as the suspension is concerned. let the air out of one of the sides and see which bag went flat. Then you can label the gauge to keep yourself straight. I strongly recommend that you get the rig weighed by someone like Stacey. That way you'll see what the weight is per each tire and side to side. That way you'll know what pressure to put in each side of the suspension. Unless you get it weighed like that you are just guessing about the pressure you need.
