RV.net Tech forum has an extensive thread on the Chinese generators. I looked at one from Pep Boys yesterday, and after I make a few measurements, I'll be getting one. The plan is to mount on rear of trailer with a receiver platform and run the cable to the AC connection on the left rear of the trailer.

This model (Power Pro) 3500 watt, has a 220v twist lock, with 25 amp breaker. Since ours is a 50amp system, I will use the supplied male twistlock, and use four conducter #10 wire to the trailer. Of course I will still only have the wattage the gen supplies, but better than using a dogbone from the 110v outlet.
