Great idea, but I had a hand held cheap unit and didn't need to take any special precautions to keep it safe. But your right, when i did the brake bleed, i used a pop bottle and tubing, worked well.

i used to winterize the ice maker line, before i was able to move to a warmer climate, by reaching in and removing the line from the valve and used a small vacuum hand held pump to suck the water out...
