Push pull know was out.....Anybody have any idea...

Push pull know was out.....Anybody have any idea how to wire two 6 volt batteries? You may have a point on wiring wrong......given my luck.

There is a humming noise but not as loud as it...

There is a humming noise but not as loud as it usually is.....which lead me to believe the batteries were dead.....but the dealer said they were OK.
