Jake Brakes are good.

Glad you got down ok.
We have had a jake brake on this truck since new. And have appreciated more and more.

Break away

Thanks. I was passing Camping World and stopped in to plead my 'dumbness'. They are very kind, a young guy stepped our to my 5th wheel and fixed it in less than 5 minutes.
No charge. I will go back...

Breakaway switch

I inadvertantly pulled one of the breakaway wires out of the j box, but looking into the box it is not obvious which one of the connectors is the correct one to plug into.

Being of a very delicate nature, mosquito bites really bug me. I was bitten last week, and the bite site swelled and itched like crazy. Looking at a tub of Tuck's Wipes, I noticed that they are...

I have a larger Honda, which I have wired into my home, but a small one would be great for the trailer.

I have a 07 Montana 5th wheel. I am considering getting a small generator, placing it in the bed of the truck, for those times when we need to take lunch en route, and use the microwave. Any ideas,...

Whistler/Pemberton to Lillooet

Wow; That road is a killer, driving our 07 Dodge 3500 with a Montana in tow, we were sweating it on the uphill, and breathing sighs of relief on the down side. The road to the top is very steep, lots...

Pull rite

Well I got the unit off the sellers 3/4 ton Dodge Diesel 2WD.
My truck is a 3500 series 4/4 short bed, do you think I will need a different set of fittings.

Ye Gods Bill, your rig is amazing.
What did you use to make your slide for the generator?

Any experience driving Whistler to Banff. We have driven from WA State to Banff, but never from Whistler, never with a 5th wheel.
I am concerned about the road conditions, passes etc.
