For portable units they make a lock that goes over the plugs and a cable can be added. That way you can't unplug it. Takes a regular paddle lock.

I still prefer hard wired for a lot of reasons....

Try to bypass the control syst before you yank the furnace. If it runs normal when you connect and disconnect the two blue wires then furnace is ok.

The wires are coming out the top front oh side...

No need to mess around near the Gen auto transfer sw. Just install by the main panel that way is also protect you from the genny too.

The main panel had to come off the wall a bit to work on it...

Go by the Gross wt loaded on the fifth wheel. 3500 DRW at a min for that MS. Most 38' MS come in loaded around 19k with a pin of 4500 plus. The 3500 will be close on specs.

Some folks I now use this unit and it helps a lot when WiFi is at its limits signal wise. You need a router or buy theirs with the units as a package. They are out of Toronto.
