I thought about using grease but whoudnt the dirt & grime stick to it from gravel roads? My owners manual doesn't say anything at all about maintenance on the slide.

Nu-Finish

I just used a product called nu-finish to wax the exterior of my 5thwheel. Its a poly based product instead of wax so it went on much easier and came off ALOT easier. Also seems to las a bit longer....

has anyone installed LED lights replacing the incandesent bulbs? If so, did it make any difference in how long the batteries lasted?

LED use less electricity and last longer but the cost is still...
