I suggest using the tape where possible...the self-leveling is for use only on horizontal surfaces, don't use on vertical surface. Take a look at the YouTube vids on how to use it, then follow them...

That does happen, at least to me, often enough that I try to raise the front high enough to cause runoff before putting slides in.

Running lights on front cap? Check grommets for...

Running lights on front cap? Check grommets for sealing tight, silicone if loose.
Look real close on seal of cap to body for missing silicone.
