We have used a single teflon plate on the previous '05 Suites for over 7 years; the one on the '15 was 3 years old and no wear. They last for a long time if you don't let one drop off and lose it while parked. Sometimes, a rubber o-ring is needed around the pin to keep it from dropping off. Also, get the larger one, not the smaller one.
Just sold the Companion and there were no scratches/gouges on the hitch plate--looked really good.
If you want to ask anything else, my email is joedobry@gmail.com no need to go thru this forum.

Good evening from still snowy CO. Had to come home early from AZ due to concern of getting trapped away from home. We had our bush plane and FAA could ground everything like 911. Anyway; will do our first Companion/MorRyde trip in two months and wondered about the life expectancy of a lube plate traveling roughly 5-6K miles?
Thanks and enjoy your isolation wherever you are.........

This is a profile comment area. Sorry, don't check here often. As to covers, the only 2 I have owned (shorter TT, 36'fiver) did not work well as we used the units to often.
Also, believe price is an indicator of quality...

Hello, flyingjack here. Haven't been on this site lately. Is this the site you usually use? I moved to Keystone forum. Anyway; looking for your opinion on cover for my 39' Mountaineer for high winds. Shredded my ADCO last week. jackehorn@aol.com
