We have to winterize our 2007 38 RL3 as we are going to be out of it for a considerable time. Can anyone tell me in a step by step how to do this?

Thanks in Advance
Ken

Ken, on our previous TT, I used one of the plugs available at RV supply or Camping World that had a Schrader valve and used air pressure to blow water out of the lines. I opened each faucet, flush valve on the comode, etc to get the water out. Then, after unhooking the air, I left each faucet open so that if there was any residual water it would not cause any damage. I did dump some RV antifreeze in the black and grey water holding tanks. I added a solution of antifreeze and water to the fresh water holding tank.

However, what I think was more valuable....we added 3 containers of DAMP RID inside the RV to take moisture out of the air.

We did the above for 4 winters without damage. Actually did it twice one winter because we pried all the ice off the TT and headed to Florida for a few weeks!

Dont forget to add RV antifreeze to all "P" traps, and washing machine.

How do you winterize the washing machine?
