Where does the washer drain to?

Does it go into the grey water tank? Or, does it drain to the sewer line without a valve?

Travel Supreme does not drain in to a tank, but you have to make sure you sewer hose is hooked up when using the washing machine.

Mine drains to the grey tank. Therefore you have to make sure the valve is open or you will have water in the upstairs on the second load washed. How's AZ? Hope to get through there again in February. Take care!

Mine drains into gray tank also. So far we have remembered to open the drain when using the washer.

According to Splendide, the washer uses approx 9 gallons of water a load, so we have used the washer for multiple wash loads with the valve closed. But yes, it drains into the gray tank.

In our case with the Kenmore W/D if you don't open the valve and your wife goes to take a shower, she is actually taking a very shallow bath

Ours drains into the grey tank. We've found that it will hold 2 full loads of wash water and I use that to flush the sewer hose when I dump the black tank.

Thanks for the info.

I suspect, prior to hitting the road full time again, a washer and dryer will be installed!

Hopefully we will see you in Benson this winter.

As full timers we just leave the grey water valve open all the time so as to not be concerned about it for washer or any other reason. We then allow it to fill up before we move for flushing the slinky.
