under the MS looks like cardboard (I know it's not) but wondering if anyone has had any problems with it coming apart or having to reinforce it because it looks awfully flimsey?

The product is the same thing we sell where I work (wholesale distributors). We sell it as CorPlast. It is corrugated plastic and is surprisingly strong. I bring samples of it home to make toys for my birds and it is quite hard to poke holes in it for strings to go through. The point of my scissors won't go through it. My hobby knife will though... with effort.

I think I'd've liked to see something a bit more substantial in it's place, but for the weight savings, it's really very strong.

Judy: Excellant info. On factory tour you can see them install that piece of stuff and it has to withstand a litttle abuse just being strung under the trailer frame. For what it does, I prefer it over ABS panels etc., for it's durability and weight savings.

I like the product installed by DT. I had to cut a hole in mine to remove water from a self induced water leak  . When I was done, I cleaned the surface with alcohol and patched the cut with the heavy duty duct tape from Gorilla!

My 2000 Avion used sheet metal, and was a real pain to remove.
