For those of you with the Inverter option are you satisfied with the controller location? Probably not, since it is down near the floor in the coat closet area.

Do you have any suggestions where it could be practically mounted to be more accessible? Am I correct to believe this device will be monitored frequently when operating under battery power? Have you added any other monitor or control equipment to supplement what is provided by the factory?

Gee, so many questions but I would sure be interested to hear from people who have experience with this option.

My Xantrex control / monitor is located eye level to the right going up the steps. It was a easy self install with the wire running adjacent to the MS thermostat wiring. Handy to monitor and set. My inverter sits just inside the access door street side. As I stated this is a self installed system.

Rick, thanks for the info. Good to know there is a better place to mount the controller. Sure wish I had a picture of yours. Factory has agreed to move it up away from the floor but mount it on the end wall of the closet. Not sure how to visualize that but I believe it is still normally hidden from view behind the doors. I would like to see it mounted in a wall similar to what you have where it can be observed readily out in the open.

Got our feet back on the ground for a couple days and the internet set back up. Here is a picture of my controller installation.
