How do I know if a TV or DVD player requires a pure sine wave inverter? If so, digital or analog? I have not purchased a TV or inverter yet, but want to make sure I get something that will work without buying more than I need.

Thanks

Scottz I have run inverters on every thing in my trailers for years using the stardard modifide wave units. Right now I own 200 watt to 1100 watt inverters for running my TVs to WIFI set up and all inbetween electronics with no ill effects.
The only warnings i have seen has been on chargers for things like call phones and rechargable batteries that say DO NOT use with modified sign wave inverters but I have had no problem so fare with them either.

The pure sine wave is better for motors so they can run more effisentsy but I don't run my washer and dryer when boon docking. :)

There is always the exseption but I have not come across one yet.
