Well here I am back in a Carriage after 16 years in aMobileSuites.
Prior to the DRV I had 35 foot Carriage KS3
This 2007 Royals is quite a nice 5th wheel.
I am on a steepish learning curve, and fixing up stuff as quickly as I can.
Hope I can share what I do know and ask a few questions once in a while.

I see some similarities to our 2006 Carri-lite 36 foot model. We looked at a Royals model but it wasn't traditional-looking enough for my wife. I've had much to repair, alter and update on our unit over the years, so if you run into any peculiar issues, feel free to contact me. the biggest single problem was the gears and mounting of three of the four electric slide motors. Hope you enjoy it. It looks great.

Hi there, I’m pretty sure your awning is the more or less standard type either manual or electric, with side-arm.
I have the Carefree unit that mounts on the roof, a lot like a high-end Motorhome.
I think it is the Mirage or Paramount model, works with remote only and it is 120 volt ac powered.
I cannot find any diy repair info on the thing.
I’ll keep you posted on my efforts.

Yes we have a standard 12 VDC electric type Carefree. I had to replace a broken gear in it several years ago, which meant purchasing a whole motor & gear reduction assembly. I carry a spare with us now. I noticed your roof mount in the photo. I didn't know Carriage used that type on any models.

Yes Carriage did use the Mirage, and Apex model awnings on some of the Royals series units.
They only operate on 120 volts.
I have one that will deploy, and one that won’t.
Both of them however have cloth type material that the seams have come apart.
Each awning is made up of 4-5 panels, double stitched together, most of my seams have come apart…
I may try re-sewing them…
