F250 5th wheel hitch

Hello, new to towing a 5th wheel. I have an F250 with a 6’9” bed, it has the factory 5th wheel prep package. I will be towing a grand design 295RL. I need some advice on what hitch I should buy. I’ve been told that if the truck bed is over 6.5’ long a standard hitch will work no need to go with a slider? Does anyone have any experience or advice on which hitch to buy for this set up?

Lot's of opinions out there on short bed trucks. My personal opinion a B&W puck manual slider will not disappoint. 100% US Made with a simple sold latching system.

If you do get a B&W be sure to properly lubricate it.
