Back a dozen years or so Lippert or DT invented a cure for the dip the early units took when the extend switch was pushed. I think it was called a delay timer. Does anyone remember those and what they are, I would now like to get one if I could figure out how or from where. Thanks

I have a 2011 what "dip" are you referring to?

2011 is probably too new. The dip occurs when you press the extend switch for the landing gear. The front of the RV dips several inches before it starts up. The early models 3,4and 5 were repaired. I just wondered what they did.

It delayed power to the solenoid valves in order to allow the pump to build pressure before the solenoid valves would energize to direct fluid.

Hey thanks. That helps. Any idea what it was called or how it was installed.

I think it was just called time delay. Mine came with it so can't help with the install.
