Sticking Crank out windows

Thinking i need to lube the crank out windows on my 2009 Elite Suite 36TK3 where the bottom tips out. Crank scissors arms together to open and slide apart to close but they get hung up. Thinking maybe some white grease on slider trac to reduce binding. Any input as to successful resolution experienced appreciated.

Larry, we use a spray can (2.5 oz) of 3 in 1 Lock Dry Lube. Any hardware store will have it. Most any brand will do. Imagine this: It also works good on the front door lock mechanism!:mrgreen:

Don't use grease! It will create a dust/dirt magnet. Use a good quality greaseless lubricant such as 3 in 1 lubricant for RV's

Open and close every window at least once a month.

Had extreme storms blow thru michigan last week and both rear corners of drv leaked, down both sides and a 1/4 way from each side toward middle of back. Also curb slide rear window leaked across rear of slide. Anyone experience leaks in extreme rain. Slide window is just up/down track window but all windows in rear of 5er are the lower crank / tilt out style.
Rain gutters seem to be functioning during later lighter rain storms.

Rain leaks are quite often caused by failure of caulking, not mechanical problems. Have you checked your caulking at least yearly, if not every 6 months?

I have had 5er in 2 different drv dealers to have caulk checked / repaired . Owned for 8 months had both dealers service in first 4 months
