I bought my DRV used two years ago. It came from Washington. We live in the desert around Palm Springs Ca.
The last two summers for three months we have been in S.D. and MN.
We've just noticed in the last month or so the cabinet front shrinking. I know it is because we live in a very dry area.
I just find it interesting that the Teton we owned for 15 years never did that. It spent most all it's time here in the desert.

Anyone else having this problem?
We do have a humidifier going to see if we can stop this.

At least you have the better doors and when you get some humidity back in the rig they will hopefully get back in shape.

Newer DRV's us doors with rails and stiles just cut at a 45 and when they split they don't come back.

Cherry, the humidifier seems to be making a difference.
In our Teton which we had no problem with cabinets were oak.

I have the Cherry also and I am in NW WA during the Summer and Palm Springs, CA in the Winter. So far mine are doing well.

My 07.5 MS was on the Peninsula near the Salt Water and it had Maple. They popped apart. Bought it that way and saved a bunch of $$$.

This is what the Teton cabinets looked like when we traded it in after 15 years of use.
Parked in the desert all that time.
My daughter lived in it for 1 1/2 years in Phoenix just before we traded it.

Interesting that your 07.5 was by the ocean and still
shrunk?

Maple does NOT like moisture. So once it was taken away from the Marine Air it shrunk and the results were not good!

Get a small humidifier. Would help for sure.

Had one running now for over two weeks. Pumped in over 40 gallons of water. Yes it is making a difference.

As you can see I'm making progress.
