Solar panels survived?

Also, might be time for a FlexArmor replacement...

Solar panels came through it fine. So did vent covers.
Being 9 years old and is having for two years in the desert took a toll on the plastic.

If the RV and TV are on the same policy I would include every bit of damage on the RV. If they are separate policies I might just replace the covers myself for about 250 or so and not make a claim.

I have $100 deductible comprehensive that would take care of any and all of the mentioned damages on both rigs. I would suffer ZERO rate increases for filing claims on each.

Adjuster was out this morning. Because there is damage to the underlying aluminum roof the pictures don't show he's thinking $10 - $15k for the Mobile Suites repair. My F-350 is $25k worth of damage. That's at S.D. labor rate of $68 @ hour. If in California where I live my guess would be $100-110 per hour.

This is good time to fix things forever on the roof. The aluminum is the transition between sidewall and plywood roof, and generally is only held down to plywood by staples. Because of the bend in the aluminum, it is constantly trying to straighten itself and the staples are not always enough to keep it from lifting.
RVFlexArmor roof shop will fix it all--this is the complete replacement roof and takes all the attachments off and fixes the underlayment problems, then puts the liner on and replaces the attachments. Just about a permanent fix, check it out.

I got hailed on a couple of years ago, didn't even want to go out and look afterwards. About $20,000 to make me whole again, luckily the truck was in the shed at the time. Just the 5th wheel. Don't even want to go through that again. Hope it all works out OK for you.

We had Flex Armor RV roof installed. Best upgrade we've done so far. Have been hailed on with smaller hail a couple times , no issues. Also provides additional soundproofing so we dont notice the rain so loud.

Got estimate from the appraiser on the 5th wheel today.
$12,258.59.

FlexArmor ought to be under $9k for a complete new roof and underlayment repairs, if needed. Had a friend with an Excel and Denali pickup, same degree hail damage. He is very happy with the new roof.
What is the hit on the truck?

Mike, bad as we've ever seen. Did it cross your minds to possibly just trade? Man, that rascal is rough!

Only has 28000 miles on it. Never crossed my mind to trade it in. I was concerned they might have totaled it. Damage would need to have been $35k+ for that to happen. Body shop is owned by my nephew and I've seen the restoration he has done and the awards he's won. I have total faith in his work.
It should be ready for the paint booth by Tuesday or Wednesday

This will give you a idea of some not all of the parts that were replaced.

Got it back just like a brand new truck.
I'm 😁
