Hi, my name is Sharon. I live in Indiana. I am just starting to look at fifth wheel trailers and am hoping to get some recommendations and reviews. I currently pull a gooseneck horse trailer, so I would also be interested in conversion hitches from fifth wheel to gooseneck.

Welcome to the forum.

Don't know much about gooseneck setups, hopefully someone will jump in with advice.

Welcome, CarmelClown. Do you have an idea as to how heavy of a fifth wheel you are looking at? Anderson and PullRite have A frame/ball hitch conversions. I don’t know if the PullRite has a gooseneck attachment, but I know that the Anderson does. These are A frames that attach to your existing gooseneck ball, in lieu of Industry Standard Rails (ISR). If you have factory puck system, you can order the hitch for your brand puck system-they are all different. I had the PullRite system and was very happy with it until I bought a heavier trailer than it would tow. Reese makes a gooseneck king pin box conversion that is getting good reviews. Check out BTBRV on you tube. Lots of good reviews. Can’t go wrong with DRV Mobile Suites if you’re looking to go full time, IMHO. :-)
