We only have about 90 days left of summer and then many of you RVers will be looking for a nest to winter out in.

Now we all know that our computer and the internet are right up there along side the beer and television when it comes to priorities..

Here is something I found that may be of interest to many of you who are thinking about getting "High Speed" internet service this coming winter..

WOW !! who knew ??...... Which service is better, faster and cheaper ??

check it out..

Article is quite long, so didn't get through too many pages. While in various homes: we've had dial-up (who hasn't), DSL from 2 different providers & cable. They all worked for our needs at the time. While in the 5ver, we've had cable, satellite DirectWay & a Verizon card. The latter 2 are most used. Have experienced problems setting up the DW at current location, so am depending on DH's business Verizon card. Once we move on will go back to DW.

Vickie,

Any idea why you have had problem with DirectWay at your current location? Just curious as I have been thinking that is the way we will go when we go full-time.

Have been working with our support at Maxwellsatellite. Had it up for 24 hrs when we had a heavy rain storm. Signal wasn't as strong as it should have been 40 vs 60. After doing all of the suggestions, either it's the trees, magnetic pull since we're near a power pole or we may have bad wires. But we're only here for a couple of mos before we move on, so it's not worth the effort. Put account in a 2 mos suspension, so won't be billed for it.
